MATERUNI WATERFALL

Image
Materuni waterfall Materuni waterfall is one of the beautiful waterfalls in Kilimanjaro,    also known as Nambe waterfalls locally, which means firstborn. It has this name as it's the first waterfalls that come from the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. However, for location purposes, this waterfall is known as Materuni waterfall, which is the name of the village, It is 15 km from Moshi town. On the way to materuni, I pass the beautiful villages that I always heard about when I was young because I grow up in Moshi as well. FROM THE MAIN OFFICE TO THE WATERFALL  After I arrived at the office I had to pay an entrance fee, it’s just a small contribution which helps the village. From the office to the waterfall I walk (hiking) for 40 minutes it was really beautiful and a little bit of exercise after two weeks of not working out hahaha I enjoy it. MY EXPERIENCE  This place amazed with materuni waterfall, on the way, there was beautiful trees, birds sounds, nice weather ...
